As we see in addiction, where good people will do bad things ( they say 80% of crime is from or for drugs) so it is not that this person has no soul, but the desire doesn’t, which means, to the extent you have any desire even for spirituality ( except for the desire to listen to God) is the extent, you too are irrational and capable of evil (as we see from unholy wars, including the current jihad)
