As the Choivois Halivavois
As you get your help from where you place for trust in:
The Ten States/levels of Trust
An infant born begins to trust in his sustenance from his mother’s breasts.
As he develops he begins to trust his mother who feeds him.
As he sees the respect his mother has for his father, he shifts his trust towards his father.
Once he is able to provide for himself, he begins to trust on his own capacity, forgetting that all his previous good luck was only due to God’s graciousness.
If his livelihood comes from a fellow human being, he will transfer his trust to them.
When he encounters things beyond his control, it is only then he will run to God, as the saying “there is no atheist in a foxhole.”
When his knowledge of God increases, he will begin to rely on Him, even for his livelihood and hence seek out easier means.
When his knowledge of God increases, he will then transfer his trust in all matters to God.
When his knowledge of God increases even more, his reliance will be absolute, accepting the good as well as the bad.
When his knowledge of God increase more, he will abandon the very desires for the temporal (instinct) gratification of instinctual pleasure, nor fear the temporal frights (even shame). His sole delight will be in his communion with God, which he desperately seeks.
As his knowledge of God’s desire for him increases, he will happily dedicate his life toward fulfilling God’s will and not seek any reward neither in this world nor the next.
This is the highest level, of which the most righteous attain.
It is impossible that a person is not in one of these ten levels.
May we merit to be of those who trust. -
There’s no such thing as darkness without light and light without dark

As no one is born tough, therefore toughness is nothing but a bloated or due to a fearful ego.

Duality
G-d made the realm of evil corresponding to the realm of good, just as the twenty-eight times that King Solomon mentions, for example, corresponding to a time to rejoice is a time to cry.
—
Gevurah
How can evil exist, for only good comes from above? The answer is that if a person is praying, and they are very excited and passionate, so while they are praying, they’re also generating Gevurah. And this Gevurah during prayer is pleasure. However, after prayer, it can become a form of arrogance, whereby somebody gets angry if somebody doesn’t do what they want. Any time our ego increases, our expectations and hence frustration at them not achieved or denied increases.
—
Peace
From this negativity, anger, the dark forces are created. (So there’s a profound lesson here. We must be like Rabbi Akiva. The story is told that four entered the Parde”s, saw all the secrets of the Torah. One went crazy, one died, one became a heretic. Only Rabbi Akiva survived. And they said the reason is “because he entered in peace, so he left in peace,” which means when our goal is not a personal desire, but the desire of G-d, then everything we do is not only productive, but peaceful.)

Distinction
Torah shows us the distinction between good and bad – and when we study Torah, we create the distinction in reality.
—
Preparation
In the earlier generations, that they were the essence of Torah, they were able to create this distinction through the study of Torah, but today we must preface our Torah with prayer. -
Whatever you think about you’re manifesting – so be very careful about what you think
