There are five types of intelligence; There is kinesthetic intelligence, namely intelligence about the body. Dancers are often connected to this type of intelligence. There is emotional intelligence, the intelligence of understanding other people’s emotions. Women are often very good at this. In fact, they can be highly attuned to vocal tones and emotional cues. There is conceptual intelligence, the ability to come up with new ideas which men are better at. There is, most importantly, daas (דעת), which is the ability to transform something that you know to be true into a necessary part of your behavior. General intelligence—namely, the common model of Western education, which often focuses on giving people information without ensuring its integration into daily life—is, from a Torah perspective, of limited value compared to an education – integrative intelligence- focused on growth, application, and personal transformation. The Torah advocates for Daas – integrative intelligence which by necessity includes all previous forms – but discerns whats most important.
