To love another we must, must love ourselves. And to love ourselves, we must know that we are lovable. And we are lovable. G-d makes you because He loves you every second.

And if anybody ever made you feel unlovable, it’s only because someone made them feel unlovable. I like to say that shame is the greatest virus that exists, cause whoever catches it becomes jealous of those who don’t have it. But it was jealousy. Jealousy of the fact that you thought you were lovable.

It was exactly what happened to Harry Potter. “He who mustn’t be named” is jealous of the love that he had. That’s why there’s bullying, that’s why there’s antisemitism.

So feel compassion on the person who may have been rude to you; they thought they were unlovable😢

And if they looked really cool, it’s because they were defending their dignity which was assaulted.

The mask🎭—the bigger the mask, the bigger the wound, and so don’t feel like that person was there to really hurt you. That was just jealousy. And feel compassion and get over it because you’re beautiful and you’re lovable.
