A Prayer for Freedom from Social Media Addiction

Master of the Universe,

You created my mind to think,
my heart to feel,
my eyes to see Your goodness,
and my time to fulfill the purpose for which You sent me into this world.

Please help me reclaim them.

Free me from the constant urge to check, scroll, click, compare, and seek approval. Help me recognize that every notification does not require my attention, every opinion does not require my response, and every empty moment does not need to be filled by a screen.

When I feel restless, help me turn to You.
When I feel lonely, help me connect with someone real.
When I feel inadequate, remind me that my value comes from the Divine soul You placed within me—not from views, likes, followers, or comments.

Give me the strength to put down my phone when I know I should. Help me be fully present with my family, my friends, my responsibilities, my Torah, my prayers, and my own soul.

Forgive me for the precious hours I have lost. Help me not become discouraged by the past, but to begin again now—with one wise decision, one protected moment, and one meaningful action.

Please transform this technology from a master into a servant. Help me use it only for goodness, kindness, learning, livelihood, and spreading Your light.

May I no longer live as a spectator of other people’s lives. Help me live the life You gave me.

Please grant me clarity, discipline, inner peace, and true freedom.
