Hello, hello. Ok—an amazing teaching from today’s Tanya. The concept is to have rachmanus; to have pity, to have mercy on basically G-d and your own soul.

The way it works just like this, that all of our souls, everything basically comes from G-d’s name Yud and Hei and a Vav and a Hei.

And the Yud represents the connection to G-d, the little tip of the Yud is the keser connected to G-d Himself, and it flows through chochmah, which is like the innovation in the mind of what’s going to happen.

And then there’s Hei, which is the bina, the expansion, the beginning of the implementation.

The vav, the hamshacha, for bringing that into reality.

And the bottom Hei, which is the reality.

And so we’re living on the bottom Hei, we’re living in the reality.

But, all of reality is connected all the way up. So if I, G-d forbid, eat pork, or speak meanly to somebody, what happens is I’m taking the divinity, and then I’m putting it into evil.

And the way it works is that G-d doesn’t want evil, but he has to have freedom of choice. So therefore he has another entity called klipa or the other side, where if I’m doing something wrong, they become the source—like obviously they have to draw from divine energy, but they become the source of me at that time end of that thing.

And so what I’ve really done, is like taking the king and literally put Him in a dungeon with uncouth, terrible people, and there He has to be with them. And it’s the greatest pain and suffering for light to have to be in darkness. And so when you feel bad that you caused G-d and you caused your own highest self to go into the darkness, this restores the Yud Kei Vav, and then the bottom Hei goes back to it.

And last but not least, it also draws, because the element of mercy comes from the Yud Gimel Middos Harachamim, that comes from kesser the highest point; and therefor, it has the capacity—you know, when you have mercy on someone, it doesn’t matter what they do, you feel bad for them. So it has the capacity to literally cleanse all sins.

So think about everything you did and realize how terrible it is that you took divinity and put it into, you know, the toilet, and then feel bad for tbe divinity, feel bad for your own soul. And then you, through this, bring about the higher level, the mercy of G-d, and it cleanses the sins.
