Every squeeze hurt its feelings.
If someone pushed it too hard, it felt crushed.
If someone threw it, it felt scared.
Life felt difficult for the little soft ball.
One day, the ball decided:
“I don’t want to lose my heart… but I do want to become stronger.”
So slowly, the soft ball became a strong football.
Now, when life squeezed it, it could bounce right back.
When challenges came, it could fly through the air.
It was still full of life and heart — but now it also had strength.
And for the first time, the ball learned something beautiful:
Being stronger did not stop it from being happy.”
