Many people are aware of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs but one that isn’t mentioned enough is loving yourself.
There is no greater status than having been, and being chosen, by the infinitely powerful loving Creator – to be one of His meaningful creations.
(If someone shamed you, IT WAS ONLY BECAUSE EITHER THEY WERE CARRYING SHAME, AND AS JEALOUSY CREATES THE DESIRE FOR THE OTHER TO FEEL EQUALLY AS MISERABLE, THEIR MIND PROJECTED YOUR NEGATIVE (for we are all a composite of positive and negative, but the person who loves doesn’t see negative – the person who hates magnifies the negative so they can shame the other – subconsciously); AS SUCH YOU ARE IN ESSENCE DIVINE AND BEAUTIFUL. Everyone has some negative and sometimes it can be someone just had a bad day and were jealous that you were happy (again jealousy is subconscious. Interesting that it is the only emotion regulated in the Ten Commandments).
So depersonalize the experience – “it’s not that I was bad but they were FEELING BAD.” Repeat this mantra until you stop feeling shame/d.)”
