We mainly operate through a mixture of intelligence and emotions.
Now, the main difference between a human and an animal is whereas the animal’s emotional and bodily sensations and memories of pain and pleasure and desires and fears will be the primary mechanism; And the combination of all of these will be the way that it functions.
Now the difference with a human being is that we also have a conscience. And so we include our sense of right and wrong in this, as well as our ability to think ahead and plan for the future.
But of course, our conscience and our intelligence is in a constant battle against our emotions. 
Now a healthy person is one whose mind is in control and unhealthy person is one whose emotions are in control.
But a super person is one who allows the Divine to be their , intelligence.”
