sanity, recognizes existence.
The Dutch were known for their tremendous goodness to the Jewish people during the holocaust, and in general, they are nice people, and they have a national motto called “We have to be sane” and they define sanity as “knowing the other person exists” –  whereas insanity, is where we have some type of desire such as an addiction or even lust – sometimes masquerading as love – but it is controlling us.
And we are not being conscious in our thoughts, speech and actions.”
