0 responses to “This morning as I woke up (as often occurs) I had an insight – as my friend and teacher Phil taught me, Sometimes God reveals the whole – you see, I realized that the universe is infinite – now this is a fascinating, extraordinary and in fact necessary understanding – by nature we are born into what we perceive to be a finite realm – though it may seem large, nonetheless there are finite dimensions – the very notion of large is a relative term (a finite concept, for you are comparing one finite thing to another) infinite means, it has no beginning nor no end – so not only have we discovered this in the realm of science (for example the 2011 Nobel Prize was awarded for the startling discovery that the universe is continuously tripling its speed of expansion – an infinite miracle) but furthermore this (one of the last teachings revealed by the Rebbe) is how our own personal universe goes – for the Divine hand is simply leading every person – experience after experience (though some may take longer than others) into ever expanded lessons – to paraphrase: God’s intent in Creation was to merge the infinite into the finite”
