You see Shabbos is a holy-day, but it is also the seventh day – in other words, it takes an ordinary and through sanctifying it – through dedicating it to God, it becomes a holy-day.

For a person to be satisfied in life there are two realities they must accomplish:

The first is obviously we cannot be in pain.

The second though is we must have a purpose!

But if we have to face facts, 99% of what we do is actually meaningless – we sleep for at-least 20 years, we eat for at least 2 ,we go the bathroom for perhaps another, working and doing mundane chores probably at-least another twenty – what meaningful pursuits do we actually achieve?!

However, meaning is not necessarily by adding time, it can be by transforming time!

You see, if the reason I do all these things is for the goodness it will enable me to do – which by the way is the greatest secret – for everything we do is completely based on the motive – so if my motive say in making money is for the goodness it enables, then and only then will I actually use my money for goodness – hence, every moment that I am at the office is not a chore it is a purposeful! meaningful activity!

You see Moshiach is in your hands!
