Parshas Motois Maaseh

Or sages teach that the Jewish people will be redeemed through Teshuvah – in fact the Torah predicts that in the end, all Jews will do Teshuvah – particularly following the holocuast there is no Jew who hasn’t had many thoughts of Teshuvah, and we know a single thought in the right direction causes, “from a rasha to Tzaddik.”

We learn from the journeys of the Jews from Egypt to the Promised Land how we must live, A. We are always heading toward Moshiach. B. While we are going, we are leaving exile, our self-imposed and societal norms. c. True leaving Egypt, comes from recognizing the Divine within, namely, our soul is literally God. d. Hence, as God can never have limitations, our exile doesn’t limit.

In Parshas Maasie we find the laws about the Arie Miklat which were both where the Leviem lived as well as where if someone accidently killed someone they were banished; so why in a Parsha about redemption does mention exile? – The answer is that in spiritual terms, this exile/murder refers to the Divine soul (trapped in the lusts and ego fancies of the animal) – Now as mentioned, a spiritual person never rests their laurels, rather must continually ascend level after level – However each ascent actually can be done on different ways – firstly it can be that a person doesn’t feel bad about their current status, only when they reach a higher status do they become cognizant of how far they were. – Ideally though, a person must be cognizant that relative to where they will be – certainly when Moshiach comes, their current status is not only not holy, not only relatively, nothing!, but actually like sinning (relative to the absolute truth of who they should and will be.)

However following this meditation, a person should think, that in truth, it is of no fault of my own that I was so deluded, for the darkness was created by God for the result of the subsequent light!

We must unite with our fellow not based on any physical likeness, but based on the absolute core of all existence; which obviously is a single oneness.
