0 responses to “we are simply a car, the car has a driver, and Kabbalah says, we have three drivers, each jockeying for control – the only rational driver in us is our independent mind, but for our mind to work independently, we need to eliminate the other two drivers, the second driver which is very much our default state is our desires – desires are irrational – they are either instinctive or learned – often from that wonderful source of information called the media: advertisements, television and movies (hence the sick debased level of western civilization) to make matters worse, we often develop fears, phobias, anxiety, for example from shame – hence the perfectionism tendency, which is really trying to prevent future shame – But all of this is nothing compared to the third driver, this is our ego – when we sense we are “something” (so the contrast to ego, which in fact is what allows the mind to function, is sensing we are nothing – this occurs in childhood, which is why children have such open and learning minds) then we develop irrational behavior, for now, as opposed to a normal person that doesn’t expect to get their way, we expect it!! – we see this clearly in Africa, whereby the average black is very sweet, but give them power, they are vicious dictators, for the power gets to their sense of greatness, and now anyone who defies their will they see as opposing their very identity”
