0 responses to “There are in fact only two energies, which are proactive in our world, there is the energy of love and the energy of hate – love is when I desire something or someone – if my love is selfish, than the extent of the love, is to the extent that it feeds my selfish desire (hence as our sages state, selfish love ends when the desire has been attained) However the most beautiful love that exists is selfless love – now if I love something there must be a reason why I love that thing – the reason can be twofold, the first is identification – in other words, I realize that we share a common bond – this is why families love each other more than strangers – Jews more than gentiles – and certainly parents who truly realize the bond of the child to them, more than even their children; and obviously the highest love of which there is no higher, for the consciousness of facts are always present, hence the knowledge that you come from Him, is, God. – However there is also the opposite of love and that is hate – now in order for there to be hate there firstly cannot be love – so in order for there to be hate, first a person must love, they must have love for themselves – you see, in order for me to identify with you and to love you because we are similar, first I must love myself – if I don’t love myself then the fact you are similar to me cannot make me extend my self love to you – So when a person is depressed which really means they have come to have a negative self image – in other words, they blame themselves for whatever… called shame, hence they desire their own death (which is exactly why many depressed people take their lives). However, the person who is depressed doesn’t necessarily hate (for lack of love doesn’t mean I hate) but then there is another situation – when a person is in pain – if a person is in a pain that they cannot justify hence it is unfair that I feel terrible while you feel good, this automatically creates jealousy / hate – the classic example of this is the story of King Solomon – when two ladies who had just given birth came, both claiming that the other had stolen their child – as one child was smothered in the sleep – King Solomon ordered a sword to cut the baby in half whereupon one lady said to give it to the other and King Solomon said “she is the mother” – Jealousy caused the other woman to steal the child – so jealousy is not about having a child, rather that the other shouldn’t have the joy that was unjustifiably taken from me. – This is why the Arabs hate Jews, for in their ancient opinion it was unfair that Yishmoel got kicked out of the house – These grudges, as we see in the case of Ireland where Catholic and Protestants have seven hundred year grudges and many many many other faiths, nations, carry grudges for thousands of years, hence a hatred is passed from generation to generation – Americans are fortunate to have no hate – they have a simple reality “There was a war again the evil British, we won, now we are friends and if everyone had democracy they would live happily ever after” – Of-course this ignores, that according to Islam, Mohamed who was an Arab and delusional, hence angry that the Jews did not accept his religion (in fact, he first ordered people to pray to Jerusalem, then when the Jews didn’t accept him, he ordered Mecca) canonized a sick hate toward Jews and Christians – coupled with the fact, that they lost their expansion plans, so the more one identifies with Islam, the more they hate, primarily the Christians – This subject is so deep it encompasses most of human behavior, but the solution is simple, as a former PLO terrorist told me that he would kill me, but it was God’s will.. – In other words, he came to the recognition that Josef came to, which we all must come to – if we do believe in God, then everything that ever happened to us was good!!!”
