0 responses to “What we in America don’t get, is that the world is not America, in America the founding fathers left a tremendous mark – America was founded by the pilgrims who were staunchly religious Christans connected to the old-testament – this is very important, for the old-testament is much more than a book about God, it is rather a book about man – it tells man how to behave – what we don’t get is, that there are in truth only two kinds of societies – a. biblically – particularly old-testament – based societies – and b. non-biblically based societies – the key difference is this – biblically based societies have imbibed an understanding of law, justice and charity – but non-biblically based societies see reality – because this is their experience – as what game theory calls a zero-sum-game, “your advantage is my disadvantage and vice-versa” – in simple words, to misunderstand the difference between someone whose life is dictated by the mores of good and staying away from evil, to another, whose life is dictated by “evil works and I never heard of good”…”
