For God to create unity he had to create ego, for ego creates the desire for individuality

For God to create unity he had to create humility, for humility is when our ego recedes, allowing our love to flourish

For God to create unity he had to create suffering, for suffering is what tells our deluded notion that we are Gods, that in fact we are nothing!

This is why the Jewish people have such great unity – but ultimately, the goal is to reach deep within our own psyche, to understand that our ego is nessecery to exist but humility / self-shame is nescecery to coexist
