He believed every group has a unique psychology – let’s call it, subset of primary desires

Children – love – discipline – obviously: shelter, food, protection, fun

Teenagers – identity (obviously, considering the above was/is met)

Teenage boys – do I need to tell you?

Teenage girls – the search for a potential life mate (girls are introduced biologically to their unique life giving powers – in not so ancient times, they would marry not so long after puberty which psychologically may have been more apropos (as perhaps as well for the fulfillment of male need/want)
