A new book has come out about Martin Pistorious who was aware, in a coma, for 12 years, appropriately called “ghost boy.”

In it, he recalls his mothers desperate though cruel words “I hope you die.”

Martin added, “As time passed, I gradually learned to understand my mother’s desperation. Every time she looked at me, she could see only a cruel parody of the once-healthy child she had loved so much.”

Everything of course is Divinely ordained, so if we read this we must take a lesson – and perhaps a simple but profound lesson is – if we need to be so careful to look, think, how much so speak and treat gently a person in a coma, then how much more so, each and every non-comatose person!
