• The Shofar to be blown by Moshiach is greater than the Shofar blown by God at Matan Torah.
  • The Shofar of Moshiach, unlike the Shofar of Matan Torah blown for Jews at the highest spiritual level, comes to Jews at the lowest spiritual level.
It comes reciprocally from the feeling not how close we are, rather, to how distant we are, from God.
This need not come as a result of actual distance rather anyone – even one complete in their Judaism – by considering that relative to the infinite greatness, compassion, kindness etc. of God; all we have done, is not even like a speck of our gratitude, duty, obligation – when a person realizes that all of our blessings are gifts, not earned rewards; this humility itself, causes the reciprocal revelation of the essence of God.
  • The revelation of the Shofar of Moshiach in contrast to the Shofar of Matan Torah is that the Jews in Egypt were awestruck by God, whereas the Jews in exile, themselves are seeking God (hence the return to God coming from within, is far more permanent.)
  • As mentioned, the benefit of humility is, that it reveals the essence of God, hence as we stand right before the blowing of this Great Shofar (and in many aspects it has begun, as we see in the return of Jews who were distant to Judaism) hence, today, our entire service to God, must be in a mechanism, in which we realize, all of our achievements are only God’s!
