0 responses to “I don’t know why I recall it now, flying 30,000 feet above the ground, but maybe when you are in the clouds, you recall things, otherwise, long forgotten – but certainly the lesson which I also never thought about, is profound – in Yeshivah, two, both very intelligent boys, studied together (in Judaism, we study with a study partner the majority of the day) now, for whatever reason, one had atrocious self-esteem, the other, very healthy self-esteem – now of course, the nature of self-esteem is, that when you have it, you are normal; but when you don’t, you become jealous of those who do, the jealousy causes you to desire to destroy it, and the desire gets rationalized by finding another’s evil, which gets verbally expressed – so I’ll never forget the scene, for these two boys learned together, day after day – probably the best minds out of bunch – and once in a while, the low self-esteem boy, would go on a half hour tirade, cursing out the good self-esteem one – he would tell him every negative thing he could possibly imagine, and the good self-esteem one, would simple laugh and laugh!”
