Imagine we humans to be robots.

Or avatars.

Or biochemical reaction, to stimuli.

Ok you get it.

Stimuli – reaction.

Well there are three stimuli.

One is called love, or “I want,” or “that will be pleasurable to me” – in programming the robot stage, we call it the acquisition mode.

Then there is the fear stage – in other words, I am afraid of that – many are the reasons for fear, sometimes, it’s simply fearing the unknown, and we all have varied levels of how comfortable or uncomfortable we are with the unknown; often it is memory based, “that was painful” which because shame is so very hurtful, we often develop social phobias, for we fear “That human, which looks (as all humans do) similar to that other human, might shame me” – in programming the droid stage we call this, avoidance mode.

Then unfortunately there is a very dark mode, which comes from jealousy, jealousy is based on entitlement, so if you have something I believed I am entitled to, than I get jealous; so if I think your wife is beautiful I may be jealous, or if you are happy and I once was happy, for we do believe, all that we ever possessed was an entitlement (most often) hence I become jealous, which is why, one of the TEN COMMANDMENTS is be not jealous of anything your friend owns! – the programming sequence for the jealous emotion is destructive mode, as we seek to eliminate our rage caused by the jealousy through eliminating the source of the jealousy.

But here’s the thing, we are not any of these modes, these modes relate to emotions and we are not our emotions – in fact, we are our opinions!
