0 responses to “Kabbalistickly, different generations had different missions; ultimately, there was a time, before the coming of Moshiach, which means, all the time before 1991, when the Rebbe says, “Moshiach has come” and that was a time that was called Avodas Habirurim, and though I don’t completely understand what it means, but effectively, the service of the Jewish people, was to refine, through delineating between good and bad; because, since Adam ate from the fruit of knowledge, he mixed good and bad in this world; which is why the world obviously has a mixture of good and bad and the Jewish people through the study, the practice of Torah, and through working on oneself, they were able to eliminate the bad as the Torah has basically two kinds of Mitzvos, those that stay away from evil and do good, hence highlight the good; but whilst this sort of became quite universal, as the Rebbe says “Moshiach is here,” we have finished the Avodas Habirrurim, we have already gone through the world and brought the consciousness of right from wrong to the world, therefore, we are now in a new era and the new era is what’s called Hamshachois, we are quite simply continuously, through the Divine hand being shown ever more paradigms, insights, wisdom; for now we are in the messianic age in which the basic unique feature is Yeilchu Mechayil El Chayil – as opposed to sifting right from wrong – we are continually growing within the infinity of God’s right!”
