The dominant factor is the one, that because it dominates other factors, cancels out all other factors, hence politicians are – though perhaps internally moral – but externally i.e. pragmatically, as their dominant desire is to get elected, immoral.

Similarly, if what dominates a person is sex, it knocks out any morality in his ambition; though otherwise the person may be moral

The same applies when what dominates a person is low self-esteem, so their entire goal is to aggradization – they may well rob, steal etc. for this dominates them

So what should dominate us?

Well succinctly, we should have but a single factor in our life – which is morality – namely to fulfill God’s will!
