He says, that the way people tend to think, is that God is like a ceo – so he’s got time for upper management, certainly not for lower management, certainly not for employees, certainly not for workers, but as one Jew who told the Rebbe, I don’t understand how we say that God supervises everything individually, effectively he was saying, does it really make sense that God is going to spend his time and energy looking after a blade of grass or a worm at the bottom of the ocean?!

The Rebbe said, I see it in the reverse, if a person owns a company, he obviously would like to know about all the details of the company, the reason they hire a manager is because they simply have too much going on – so if you say are the ceo of Ford, there is only so much input you can take, but if you had the ability, you would take in and deal with all the information.

Similarly, because God can, he obviously does supervise each and every single thing!
