There are 10 principles in life that encompass just about everything:
1. God is only compassion
2. The greatest gift God has given us: we too, can overcome our selfishness and ego (self-centerdness) and become Godlike in being compassionate!
3. Within us, is an active Yetzer Hara (satan) who will always do anything it can, to get us self-centered, instead of giving!
4. The best way to beat the Yetzer Hara, is through being happy, for the Yetzer Hara uses primarily, guilt, but any sadness; to make us, try to remove our sadness through instinctive pleasures.
5. To be happy, like choosing to watch a happy, instead of sad movie, always thank-God for the goodness you see!
6. Man vacillates between happiness and sadness, so to not worry (as worry erases happiness) always realize, you (in fact, nor anyone) is in control – Though we may not be in control, God, our Loving Father is, and whatever he does, as our sages teach, is actually a favor! though if a child cannot perceive the motives behind his parents actions, infinitely more so, finite man visa-vie an infinite creator!
7. Hope is the opiate of the masses – always await – eagerly, the coming of the complete and total annihilation of sadness and evil from our world, a time of unity and eternal growth – the messianic age!
8. Purpose is man’s ultimate joy – the purpose of man, is, to adhere to God’s wisdom, mainly through the Moses of the generation, and in ours, succinctly stated, by our Mosses, to CNN: the Moshiach is on his way, from our part we need to continuously add in the realm of goodness and kindness! (thereby hastening the transformation of the entire universe!)
9. If people mock the good you are doing – ask yourself, if I was doing bad would they mock me?! – proving, it is jealousy not righteous indignation!
10. Last but not least, your and my job is never to criticize, denigrate even if (and especially when) we think we’re right! Only to lovingly teach, educate, and of course lend a helping hand! Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
