This question lies at the heart of how we treat people – for when we see people as sensitive, say a child; we coo and are sensitive to them; however, if we see people as being insensitive, say tuff, we treat them tuffly!
The answer is obvious, people are born sensitive, and remain sensitive, the thing is, like a scab covers sensitive skin to protect it, so to when people’s hearts have been hurt through insensitivity, usually maliciousness (bullies etc.) they put on a tuff exterior – this tuff exterior is a mechanism actually to protect their vulnerability – hence when Moshiach comes, it states “I will remove the cover over your hearts and give you hearts of flesh and blood!” Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
