God is first and foremost a master, a guide, a Rebbe, a teacher; but of course the mechanism, as it states “the ways are ways of peace and sweetness” – everything that exists comes from God, but our existence is not physical, we are spiritual beings, hence, we have the opportunity to freely choose light over darkness, and if we but desire to choose light instead of darkness, the road will be paved for continuous growth eternally!
