*1. Our mission in life, is not only to work for God, but to teach everyone that their mission too, is to work for God! (Jews: Torah and Mitzvos; Gentiles: the 7 Noahide Laws!)

The net effect of this, is world unity! (for we will all – like many employees in the same company – feel akin, hence kinship!)

*2. Especially considering the Mitzvah to have Ahavas Yisroel, Love your fellow Jew as yourself! we need to bring about Jewish unity.

* This begins, by realizing, a Jew on his own is considered only a half by God – when we unite with a fellow Jew – in fact with all our fellow Jews – then, and only then, can we be considered a whole!!!

The logic behind this unity, is that as every Jew contains part of God in him (his Divine soul) and as anything that is an essence, cannot be truly subdivided, for every part contains the whole (for example, if you took a flame of fire from a larger fire, the fire that is a part is the same essence as the whole) hence, as God is essentially one being, hence all Jews are one soul (in many bodies.)

*3. To begin this unity, we must begin with unity between man and God, realizing that in essence God creates a soul-candle (our soul,) and then he unites with it (like two flames merging) hence becomes one entity!

*4. This is also the meaning of Modeh Ani – that immediately when a Jew wakes up, he need not emphasize his sameness with God, for that his who he is in any event, rather, he begins with his mission in life – in this case, gratitude for his return of his energy in the morning – and gratitude being a general mission in a Jews life!

*5. It should also be emphasized, that as the Rambam writes, people must wake up from sleeping their lives away (Heaven forefend! Heaven forefend!) that we must reject a meaningless life pursuing frivolous stupidities!!!

*6. And the way a Jew wakes up, is by realizing that he is first and foremost a Divine being, as his soul is Divine!

*7. Practically the lesson in life is – there are three categories in Torah regarding how much Tzedakah to give 1/10, 2/10 or 100% – we must increase in our charitable contributions, but not in a soulless manner, rather, in a manner in which we put our heart and soul into giving charity – we should be thinking about and also engaged in the process of giving charity!!!

THROUGH THIS WE WILL MERIT THAT RECIPROCALLY GOD WILL BE ALSO EXTREMELY CHARITABLE (as we know God REACTS to our intensity of charity!) AND BRING ALL JEWS HOME!!!! Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
