No question about it, as many physical, so are there mental ailments, and all are based in fear

People do countless of counterproductive neurotic things, why?

The answer is simple.

Imagine, God forbid you were sitting on a frying pan – to someone who is not, it would look quite bizarre to see you suddenly jump up and wave your arms and shout.

The same is true – in fact, we all make a fundamental error, for we assume others are feeling what we are feeling, when we are happy we think everyone is happy, when we are miserable, we think everyone is miserable; though the mind is the most intelligent computer ever created, it works through association, so me = you, which of course isn’t true.

In fact, each and everyone one of us, as our sages teach us “just as people’s faces are different, so are their opinions” – hence each and everyone of us is in actual fact feeling different things based on the different experiences, perceptions we have.

For example, two people may see a dog, one thinks “oh, cute puppy” the other has fear, as once upon a time he was bitten by a dog, so fear hence anger, swells in his heart.
