One of the primary, if not the primary mistakes spiritual seekers, and almost all religions make, is anthropomorphization (you see there is even a word in the dictionary for it!)
Anthropomorphization means, we create God in the image of man.
All we can do when we seek to know something and especially someone, is extrapolate outwards from how we sense, to how they are sensing, for we cannot sense a sensation never sensed by oneself!
In the same vein, close your eyes for a minute.
Do you sense God to be kind or cruel, humble or egotistical?
We usually will anthropomorphize God, based on whom we see to be the greatest human and attribute such characteristics on God.
But in truth, what can a created being – say a little guy running around a video game – know of his creator? Nothing really!
But in revelation – in Kabbalah and Judaism – God has revealed the truth.
The way I understand it, God is perfect sensitivity.
