Recently I flew with Virgin Atlantic:
The airline is average, except for something that was very evil.
As I got to London from New York and I went to the ticket desk to see if I could take an earlier flight to South Africa, the agent there tells me that they wont let me on the plane until I purchase a return ticket from South Africa, as they will be liable if I overstay my welcome in South Africa.
Now I have been flying on many airlines and no one has ever said this INCLUDING VIRGIN ATLANTIC; is the time to inform a passenger that he needs to purchase a return ticket, while he is stranded in the airport in England?
They could have said so when I originally purchased the ticket or at the very least while I was in New York before I got to London – and the sad thing is that everyone I spoke to, they did the same scam on them!
