Good boy, bad boy, resonates a thousand years later in the mind of the person

We all want to be good and not bad

In fact evil people use this desire against good people, telling them that they are bad, such as Nazis or Arabs against Jews, and boy do we react, as it is such a deep desire to be good

The truth is, that there are three layers to the human

1. Our good side, the Divinity of our soul

2. Our instincts that are often for bad things, as well as simply the need to live, eat, etc.

3. Our behaviors

So no man can tell another if he is good or bad apart from saying as the Rebbe never tired, that we are innately Divinity and hence good, it is rather our behavior that determines if at any given moment we have acted good or bad
