You see we are a nation of gratitudes

We are grateful that three thousand years ago +, God took us out of Egypt, though we have suffered needlessly, not to mention who put us into Egypt.

We are grateful that thousands of years ago God saved us from annihilation though who causes the threat in the first place.

We are grateful that a little over two thousand years ago we were saved in the Chanukah story though who created that the Greeks should oppress the Jews in the first place.

We are grateful daily for your sustenance, though who created that we should need to live on bread?!

In other words, we are obsessed with gratitude!

Which made me realize, what is the opposite of being obsessed with seeing the kindness of God, quite simply being ungrateful, and if we are God-forbid ungrateful then we can rest assured, all we will see is not what we should be happy about, rather what we want, and if we see what we want, we can rest assured that we will be quite sad, for in the end of the day, we can never reach the imagination, for man’s imagination will always outstrip man’s reality, for no matter what we achieve we only want more.
