The Rebbe told us, redemption has arrived, he also explains why we needed exile.

To do this he takes the amazing query – if God is so strong to have rescued the Previous Rebbe, the arch enemy of the mighty Stalinist Russia and safely land him on American shores, why 70 years of communist hell – remember they murdered 25 million of their own citizens and countless Jews – we could further ask why the mass secularization of society?

The answer to this question is fundamental to understanding everything!

The Rebbe replies that the difference between the messianic process and the redemption from Egypt is a fundamental one.

The prophet states that as opposed to when the Jews fled the Egyptian culture as the sages state had they remained there another moment they would have been irredeemably Egyptionized; the exodus from this exile is one in which there will be no need to flee, for we will be ready for redemption.

What does it mean to be ready for redemption?

In fact the Rebbe emphasizes this constantly, the need to be ready for redemption.

To be ready for redemption means to enter into the mindset of God, namely a mindset of Torah namely a mindset of goodness and kindness.

The Rebbe often said, that the world is ready for redemption, indeed after thousands and in fact all of history watching a world annihilate each other we are now in a different mindset, one in which people revere human rights and though perhaps we may not have all the answers, we are at least looking for them – and Moshiach will be speaking to a ready audience of people who are looking for the solutions of how do we actually fix up the leaks in the ignoble parts of society.

It was for this reason Vladmir Putin himself no tzaddik, acts basically in a human rights method, namely allowing Jews and all people freedom, for he himself growing up as a Russian, as a communist, in the KGB realized that the method of oppressing people is evil.

It is this internal change like Mikhail Gorbachav who gave over a massive empire – the largest country in the world at that time the USSR to become democratic and it is this that his happening today in which not our education rather our internal conscience through God’s grace is readying us for a united peaceful world under one God, one Moshiach, with justice and purpose for all.
