The Kabbalah teaches us what Einstein discovered the hard way.

Einstein tried for twenty years to discover The Unified Field Theory, a theory he believed he could find that could unify the incredible range of diversity we find in life.

Of course, as the Kabbalah states in its introduction, without God there is no unity.

The reason for this is so simple, it is almost sad that Einstein and we can’t see it.

The unity behind the many parts of a home for example, the many parts of a body, even the unity within our very biosphere containing literally billions upon billions of diverse scientific laws all resulting in a place to breath (i.e. gravity to hold the oxygen, breath to breath the oxygen, trees to produce the oxygen etc. etc.) all of it only makes sense if you realize it has an EXTERNAL purpose.

Namely it’s to house the living being.

Once you see a purpose, you can understand why there are many rooms in a home, many cells in body (so we can see, walk, talk etc.) and the need for all the miracles that allow us to breath.

If we are looking for the underlying unity behind everything, we need not look at the physics rather at the spirit as Kabbalah always reminds us, there is tzurah vchomer in everything, a form i.e. purpose, design, raison d’être, and its physical matter, the physics of it, components etc.

To look at the various atoms of a painting and try to figure out the purpose of the painting is as ludicrous as actually trying to do so; for it’s the emotion it conveys, the beauty it portrays, the grandeur it bestows on its designer that explains every atom there.

Similarly only through understanding God’s intent in creation can we unify the myriad of elements including people that exist and his intent the Kabbalah teaches us: to throw into existence a multitude, in order that the multitude should realize the transcendence of their soul, that things have both chomer and tzurah, that matter is not energy and energy is not matter; rather they are two exactly divergent parts of one whole and by elevating one we unify the other.
