The methodology is to use the trick of Jacob, namely Abraham was like that idealistic youth, loving unconditionally, Isaac was a bit like the adult, but Jacob saw life differently, he saw life through the prism of mercy.

Abraham is pure love – which is unrealistic

Issac was pure strictness which is unhealthy

Jacob was what we would commonly call a psychoanalyst, he didn’t see evil as a negative rather as a disease so the essence of the evil person is also good but his evil has infected him – he himself desires to be good – which is the truth – but his ego or instincts have infected his bloodstream so instead of love, the natural disposition, he operates out of malice or hate.
