They say the joke that a great Rabbi passed on, coming to heaven he got a tour and he goes down a hallway and he peers through the window and sees a large palatial room and inside the room are three Rabbis sitting – along the walls are thousands of bookshelves with every Sefer – Jewish tome – available and there they were sitting together and enjoying discussing the intricacies of Jewish mysticism (which is pretty much what heaven is.)

But he noticed in the corner sat the most beautiful blond he ever saw, but she looked happy not!

Glancing at his tour guide, the Almighty himself, he asked, “I understand what the Rabbis are doing and they seem to be enraptured with the secrets they are discovering but pray tell dear Lord what is the blond doing in this room and why is she looking so sad?” “Oh,” replied God “this is her hell.”

Heaven and hell as the Rebbe teaches are right here on earth.

They are not places you go to, they are places you exist.

A person who has totally rejected Koil Cheizu Dihai Almah all the pleasures of this world like a Baal Teshuavh, someone who rejects the pleasure of this world in his quest for spirituality and finds his quest, namely God etc. is in heaven.

A person who is still torn between the imaginary gifts of pleasure, this world smokescreens and his spirit, is in hell.
