God says “Love the convert for you know what it means to be a foreigner in a foreign land.”

Why not just say love the convert?

The answer is that human nature is such that like colors we can only see emotions that we have felt.

Someone who is color blind can never see colors that he has never seen.

There is s a very very very profound lesson in this.

People are wont to disparage another’s personal psychological, emotional, mental pain, but that is as foolish as saying, because I cant see colors therefore they don’t exist.
