I was thinking, who actually created pleasure. G-d

Who created that food, intercourse, music should give us pleasure? G-d.

So the key thing is not to despise G-d’s gifts which most religions do.

Rather to use G-d’s advice on how to use these things common to all people in a way that unifies – not separates – people.
