  To be sane, to be normal – especially when great insanity (confusing darkness with light, death with life, pervades the collective consciousness) one must realize three things: the world is dark (a place where unbridled passion hence evil (as we see in radical Islam, in Arabia, in uncivilized Africa – where murder, rape, abuse, torture, is a norm)) The world began to live in light from the times of Abraham and most particularly, to the extent that people live like Abraham (sacrificing for the Biblical ideals – for not all religions are create equal (sorry, not PC, but empirically obvious) But finally, all this was to lead to the ultimate messianic light – which as the Rebbe taught, is the personal relationship currently accessible – whereby, the culmination of all our sacrifice (four thousand years of bringing light into darkness) has integrated, the infinite realm into the finite
