Fractals
One of the most amazing books I read was about fractals
What are fractals?
Fractals is basically a highly accurate description of the natural world.
Fractals means that everything is similar but unique.
For example, all people have two eyes, two ears, one heart, one head etc. and yet each and every person looks different, thinks different and hence feels differently, as our sages state, just as their faces are different so are their opinions.
Fractals are seen on the leafs of a tree.
Take the maple leaf, obviously all of them have the same shape, otherwise we wouldn’t know the shape of a maple leaf and yet each leaf is unique.
The more we go down the rabbit hole into the microscopic world the more true this becomes.
Every single cell is similar but different, every DNA is similar but unique, in fact even every atom is similar but unique.
Ultimately if we go down to the very bottom of the rabbit hole there is only one thing and that is G-d himself.

G-d is not restrictive rather freeing.

Values are not taught, their caught, in Africa where there are no role models of values, well they just aint caught and the society as I am sure in other backwards places simply becomes a valueless one.
*
I noticed an interesting sight, a little brother and an even littler sister, the little brother has his issues and the little sister is exceptionally precocious, so the little brother hurts the little sister and she cries “why did you do that to me?”
This is the cry Jews and all good people have wondered, made themselves crazy about, for not centuries but millennia.
If I didn’t hurt you, why of why do you hurt me?
And the answer was the same retarded psychopathic answer the little boy gave his sister which must be understood as the very motivation of evil – he heartily laughed in that diabolical manner of people who can only feel better about their low self image when they screw up someone else.

A most amazing talk the Rebbe gave on Shabbos Parshas Shemois 5752 which I just had the pleasure to review:
The thing is that as we mentioned http://kabbalahwisdom.wordpress.com/understanding-darkness/ the Rebbe queries, why when the Jews go into Egypt the Medrash states for the purpose of redemption.
Currently they are going into Egypt and the Rebbe clarifies we cannot say that the exile was for the redemption rather both redemption and exile are actually two sides of the same coin.
Another interesting point, is the Rebbe often mentioned that the last point / second of exile becomes the first point second of redemption – how can that be, are they not two separate times separated at the very least by some kind of infinitesimally small second, how can the last point of exile become the very first point of redemption, in other words they overlap – what does this mean?
So I asked an expert on the Rebbe’s talks – especially the significant recent ones – and he explained that exile and redemption are not two separate times – again not two separate times – rather redemption is when in exile we transcend it.
For example we all know – or at least now you do – that for the author of the Zohar, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai the exile – the destruction of the temple occurring in his time never occurred.
Can there be a human who transcends the very reality they live in, the answer of course is, yes!
The whole point of exile the Rebbe teaches is to transcend it, to see the hidden hand that put you into exile, that will take you out of exile, that desires that you should discover it.
For example, say someone God forbid was put into prison, this would be a state of exile and then he would be redeemed, however, say that someone’s loving parent puts them into prison, so when will they be redeemed? When they realize that their reality is not prison rather God is doing them the greatest loving act, though they may not be able to fathom.
So you have the ability – and the Rebbe states that, if so many years ago when the Jews went into exile they had this ability, how much more so now, when we are on the threshold of redemption according to all the signs foretelling what would occur in the generation preceding redemption, which has already occurred; hence all we need to do, the Rebbe categorically states, is lift up the curtain and reveal the show, namely that Almighty God never left us, every step of every generation in the past four thousand years of exile was not only a step in redemption but was elevating consistently the Jewish people to the ultimate paradigm where we can both be in exile and be beyond exile, for to take someone out of prison is not hard, but for someone to be able to tear away their own psychological prison walls, to see what others do not see, to feel what others do not feel, to imbibe a reality which transcends the physical five senses into a spiritual reality is to truly redeem someone.
