You see life is actually pretty simple – like most things are, once you understand them – we wish to love (because it is an instinct) but love is blind (which is why a child trusts all people) But we also don’t wish to be abused, so when our love was abused, we fear (but as love is blind, so too is fear, so we automatically assume the worst, hence do not leave ourselves open) There is one solution, which is really simple; but the greatest challenge in the world, namely, let go of your thoughts, your conception that your conception is true (for as you see, in both love and fear, you paint with such broad strokes that you cannot possibly be accurate) and live in truth: God knows who is and who isn’t worth trusting, so trust in God!
