You cannot trust anyone, even yourself, for the mind genuinely tells everyone not the truth but what their heart desires – just like your feet go to the fridge in reaction to your desire to take a drink, your mind – before you are even aware of it, already has convinced you that what you want to do is right – only the Lubavitcher Rebbe, whose soul was pure Divinity, as all Tzaddikim, lacking any taavois instinctual pleasure for himself, can be trusted; as to what is or isn’t true, good, just etc. etc.!!!
