Yes no maybe

Abraham represented yes, the open unconditionally loving state, but to always say yes, is not only to give birth to Isaac, but to Yishmoel, who can’t stand to hear the word, no.
Isaac represents, the “no to anything wrong state,” but to be harsh, gives birth not only to Jacob, but also to Eisav, who “by the sword you shall live,” whose internal hate, externalizes “my way, or the highway!”
But Jacob, “the simple man who studied the Torah” realizes, the question is not “what I think is the right way,” but “what does God say?” which created 12 children, all who followed his way; for giving them the proper balance, of both love, education and discipline, they learned to emulate their role-model.
