Wow, you know those eureka moments!

Yep, another wow moment, thanks to the good Lord.

I have always wondered about an apparent anomaly in Chassidus, on one hand we are taught that the physical reality is God himself as it states the Yesh Hanivrah is the Yesh Ha-amity on the other hand we are taught, we are the lowest in this infinite chain of descent.

So which one is it?

I know, I am not being very clear, but as is often stated, Hameivin Yavin, those who get this lingo will comprehend.

The answer came to me as I was translating chapter 36 in Tanya which explains this anomaly.

The truth is that everything is God and God has never changed.

On the other hand, it is relative to our perception that there is differences.

So if you were to go closer or further from the sun, two realities are happening simultaneously, one is that you are getting more or less heat, on the other hand (depending on the actual distance e.g. when you go into the clouds on a plane) the light is exactly the same.

So we have these two realities.

To a person who has a very unique ability to perceive the radiance of God – mainly through interpreting the visual clues in his environment – the higher up the spiritual rungs, the more heat/divinity you will experience.

But in terms of the absolute truth, the divinity found in the rock is the ultimate divinity, for God occupies all space.
