Wow I just read something amazing

We all know that the merit of the good deeds of the Jewish women, who remained strong in their knowledge of God’s declared oath to redeem the Jews of Egypt, was the reason why God actually did so.

The Kabbalists – particularly Rabbi Isaac Luria – teach that our generation is a reincarnation of the Jews whom were meritorious to leave Egypt, as mentioned through the good deeds of the Jewish women then.

Furthermore our sages teach us the upcoming universal messianic era will also be caused by the good deeds of the righteous Jewish women – who are actually the reincarnation, hence the same righteous women from Egypt – in our age.

But what will these amazing deeds be?

Trust, lighting Shabbos candles, having families?

All of the above?

One or two?

None of the above?

In a unique speech regarding the greatness of Jewish women and girls in our generation, the Lubavitcher Rebbe clearly states based on the historical poem of the prophetess Devorah, inferring from her righteousness that merited that she should both have prophecy and such great Torah knowledge that she was the leader of all Jews in her age, two good deeds which are within your grasp:

The first is the light, luminescent, warmth, radiance and Divinity which your Shabbos candles shine; bringing peace, harmony, warmth and love within the four walls of your own home, thus spreading goodness, kindness warmth, love and human identification (for all human identification stems from a mother’s love toward her family) into the entire world.

The second was Devorah’s special care to remain modest – though a leader of all Jews – she would only allow people to visit her under a palm date tree whose leaves arc high in the sky thus no shade would be provided under the tree. In this way she maintained the dignity of a princess allowing her inner nobility to be what made others attracted to her not lewdness of any sort.
