Why you matter!

By zevi770 · November 28, 2012

Do I really matter?

Me? – I know of doctors who committed suicide.

Did the doctor matter? – Well, the doctor mattered to me!

In other words, God made us in a very unique way, our eyeballs face outside of us!

This is a good thing.

But as all things in life, it has its drawbacks.

We fail to see our own soul!

We see – and sight is a conviction as the sages teach, one cannot convince someone out of what they have seen – so we are convinced, other people matter!

But as we don’t see ourselves, we don’t realize, we too matter!

But do we matter?

The answer is this:

Our world is no different from an organic whole.

In a tree, can you say, a single part doesn’t matter; without the leaves there would be no photosynthesis, without the roots no water, without the trunk, no tree etc. etc.

Each and every one of us, plays a global cosmic, albeit individualized role, in bringing Moshiach!

The trick is to realize, that there is but one God, but one organism he uses, all leading to a global universal era of happiness!
