Why The Lubavitcher Rebbe will be Moshiach

 

 

It is a well known Jewish fact that (Sdei Chemmed, the encyclopedia of Talmudic concepts, among others reports this) that in every generation a person, a descendent from the house of David, is the potential Moshiach.

 

What does the potential Moshiach mean?

 

The Rambam the only codifier of the process of Moshaich’s arrival, writes, that in every generation there is a potential Moshiach, this as mentioned is a descendent of king David who studies Torah diligently like his ancestor (this is exceptional diligence almost beyond human dedication to Torah study) he furthermore strengths Judaism (this too is done as much as possible, not say your average congregational orthodox Rabbi) and interestingly he fights the wars of God.

 

 

As the Rebbe explains, that this to be understood in the metaphysical not literal sense, for there are three types of battles to be won, the lowest is the real battles which involves murder or defense murder, the second is like America, that you are so strong that everyone is afraid to attack you, and the third is like the Rebbe, that you convince your enemy to become your friend.

 

Russia amongst other countries, changed from communism to democracy specifically through the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s direct diplomatic intervention, as was reported by one of Senator Patrick Moinoham, perhaps the American senator most engaged in this process, Orthodox Jewish aid who was the liaison between him and the Rebbe that the Rebbe was the person most directly responsible for changing the evil of Russia to democracy, the Rebbe did this to many countries, another being in South Africa as I known personally from people who the Rebbe sent to speak to the leaders who changed over from apartheid to democracy.

 

In other words, the highest most sublime victory is the current messianic miracle, what Jews have waited for thousands of years, that gentiles will no longer persecute us – this is notwithstanding the terrorism which was also predicted that the last thorn but nothing compared to our previous history, thank God, would be the Arabs – so this reality of gentiles supporting Jewish ambitions is a messianic dream.

 

Now once a person qualifies in the above, that person is automatically the person that if God should send the Moshiach to that generation, he will be the one chooses.

 

In previous generations, in fact even in Talmudic times the people in the know, identified whom they believed was qualified.

 

Additionally, they bring proof that Moshiach may have passed on and will return to lead out his generation.

 

Then once Moshiach does come and will…

 

 

From the Rambam..

 

• Moshiach will return the glorious Davidic dynasty to Israel.
• Moshiach will rebuild the magnificent Beis Hamidkdosh (Holy Temple on Mount Zion.)
• Moshiach will return the Jewish people from the four corners of the earth to Israel.
• Moshiach will reestablish Judaic teachings and values as a way of life in Israel.
• The service in the Beis Hamikdosh will resume and all related services will resume (for example all Jewish people will go to the Beis Hamikdosh thrice yearly for Pesach Sukkos and Shavous.)

 

So then we know with certainty that this person has fulfilled the actual specification of the job description and he will be Moshiach forevermore.
