Why only Judaism is true – of-course I say this not G-d-forbid to be arrogant nor of-course to put another down – but for those who seek truth, as the Rebbe says – there are a thousand falsehoods, but there obviously can only be one truth – So the reason why Judaism, as practiced in Jewish mysticism is true – is because ultimately as the Alter Rebbe says, even the meditative and mystical practices of the east, so many find enchanting… – much of it, which is all about getting beyond ego – not only ultimately takes a person not out of the ego, but INTO their ego – you see, for a person to truly follow truth, three things have to happen – first and foremost, you actually need an ego- without an ego you are not an independent person – secondly, you need to discover that your ego – your perception (as Freed referred to the ego) is false! (your society is false, the worldview you inherited is false – and this, as the Rebbe says, is even in Judaism; for ultimately, whatever the mind can perceive is something that obviously must be categorized, while in actual fact the journey is infinite) Finnaly, you must have what only Judaism provides, a unique duality in your Divine path (namely, on one hand, though you have chosen to fulfil God’s will; as the will comes from beyond, and often in conflict with you (your body’s instincts) hence it simultaneously is not only noble, but humbling.)
